Landale, The landale is a heavy beast of burden evolved from a species of whale that moved back on to land. During times of war the beast is easily adapted to running down entire enemy troops. The landale pilots ride inside the landale's blowhole and have long been affectionately nicknamed "boogers". A pilot is careful not to upset the beast as he is in a vulnerable position, ready to become a human cannonball.
